What can I say about these two? Niko & Sarah volunteered as models for our styled shoot that Ruby Jean Photography put together at Timber Point in Biddeford, Maine. The energy between these two was just incredible. Whether Niko was cracking joke after joke in between takes or Sarah twirling her dress in the wind. It wasn’t difficult to capture incredible images of these two. Timber Point in Biddeford was the perfect location for this styled shoot. We arrived with about 2.5 hours of daylight, having been waiting on the rain for most of the day, we actually weren’t sure if we’d even be able to have the styled shoot at all. The skies were gray but it’s that perfect kind of warm late evening summer light that is just perfect for filming. We captured a few shots on the beach with our cake that was provided by Hanami Cake Design. It was about a 1 mile hike out to the point from the beach. Late spring in Maine can prove to be challenging, especially with mosquitos. We ended up having to actually change a location because we were literally being eaten alive, (these mosquitos were HUNGRY). We arrived to our last location directly on the ocean front. The sun was perfectly diffused from the overcast skies providing a subtle diffused golden light for us. We wrapped up shooting right when it started to drizzle, just as the sun was about to set. Niko & Sarah were an absolute blast to work with and we captured some incredible footage that we’re so excited to share with you. These past few months have been tough for everyone, hopefully this short little film can bring some sunshine and happiness your way.
